These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CoinAlko ("CoinAlko", "we", "us"). They govern your access to and use of the website at coinalko.com, all of its pages, data, analytics and any application programming interface we make available (together, the "Service").

Please read before using the Service

By clicking "I Understand" on the notice shown when you first visit, or by otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Disclaimer & Risk Warning. These Terms contain a disclaimer of warranties, a limitation of liability and an indemnity that apply to you. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Who we are

CoinAlko is an independent cryptocurrency market-data and analytics website operated by a private individual based in the Republic of Türkiye. It is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, portfolio manager or financial institution, it holds no regulatory authorisation, and it does not hold, receive, control or transmit customer funds or digital assets. See section 3 of the Disclaimer for the full list of services we do not provide.

2. Eligibility and jurisdiction

You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to do so where you live. You represent that:

your use complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including any restrictions your country places on cryptocurrency-related information or services;
you are not located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction where accessing the Service would be unlawful;
you are not subject to any applicable sanctions list, and you will not use the Service in breach of sanctions or export-control laws.

We may restrict or block access from any jurisdiction at any time, without notice and without liability.

3. Informational nature of the Service — no advisory relationship

The Service provides market data and derived analytics for informational purposes only. Nothing on CoinAlko constitutes financial, investment, trading, legal or tax advice, a recommendation, a trading signal, or a prediction. Our Disclaimer & Risk Warning forms part of these Terms and you should read it in full.

Your use of the Service does not create any advisory, fiduciary, agency, brokerage, partnership or employment relationship between you and CoinAlko. You act solely on your own judgement and at your own risk, and you acknowledge that you do not rely on CoinAlko in making any decision.

4. Permitted use

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable right to access the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use through a standard web browser. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Prohibited use

You must not:

Scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, cache or systematically extract data from the Service, or use bots, scripts or other automated means to access it, except as expressly permitted by us in writing.
Resell, republish, redistribute, sublicense or commercially exploit any data obtained from the Service, or use it to build, train or supply a competing or derivative product, dataset or model.
Place unreasonable load on our infrastructure, attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls, or otherwise interfere with the availability, integrity or security of the Service.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, accounts or administrative areas, or probe, scan or test its security without our prior written permission.
Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code or underlying methodology of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive purpose, including market manipulation, or in a way that misrepresents the Service or its data as advice, as a guarantee, or as endorsed by any exchange.
Remove, obscure or alter any proprietary notice, attribution or disclaimer displayed on the Service.

We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or terminate access that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms, without notice, without refund and at our sole discretion.

6. API access

Where we issue API credentials, they are personal to you, must be kept confidential, and must not be shared, sold or used by anyone else. You are responsible for all activity carried out with your credentials. API use is subject to these Terms — in particular section 5 — and to any rate or volume limits we set. We may change, throttle, suspend or withdraw API access at any time without notice or liability.

7. Intellectual property

The Service — including its design, interface, text, graphics, code and the analytics, visualisations and derived datasets we produce — is owned by CoinAlko and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms transfer no ownership to you.

Underlying raw market data originates from third-party exchanges and remains subject to their rights and terms. Exchange names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us an unrestricted, royalty-free right to use them without obligation to you.

8. Third-party data, content and links

Market data is obtained from the public interfaces of Binance, Bybit and OKX. CoinAlko is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by those exchanges. We do not control third-party sources or linked websites and accept no responsibility for their content, accuracy, availability, policies or practices. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party.

9. Availability, changes and termination

We aim to keep the Service running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue all or part of the Service — including any data, feature, API or historical record — at any time and without notice or liability. We may also terminate or suspend your access at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16) will survive.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service, the website, the API and all data and analytics within them are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory — including any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the data is accurate, current or complete, that analytics or estimates reflect any exchange's actual figures, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service will be free of interruption, error or harmful components. Any material obtained through the Service is used at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CoinAlko, its operator and its contributors shall not be liable for any trading or investment losses, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data, nor for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the service — whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Assumption of risk

You voluntarily and knowingly assume all risk arising from your use of the Service, from the possibility that data or analytics are inaccurate, delayed or unavailable, and from any decision you make. You accept that trading digital assets may result in the total loss of your capital.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CoinAlko and its operator from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting failures, exchange or third-party API outages, power or network interruptions, cyber-attacks, legal or regulatory action, natural disasters, war or civil unrest.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Türkiye shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter informally.

17. General

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Disclaimer and the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier understanding.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours to a successor of the Service.
Language. These Terms are written in English; any translation is provided for convenience and the English version prevails.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version in force, and the "Last updated" date above shows when it changed. Where changes are material we will renew the acknowledgement notice. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
